We recommend staying in Catania at least two/three days. The city is truly immense and it would be reductive to try to admire its beauties in just one day.
Continue the itinerary: move towards Ragusa, Agrigento and Marsala
Cities like Ragusa, Agrigento and Marsala are worth at least one visit. Among the beauties of Ragusa we certainly find the Gothic portal of San Giorgio and the beautiful Iblei gardens where you can enjoy moments of relaxation in the splendid green corner of the city.
We then recommend dedicating a whole day to Agrigento which preserves archaeological sites of notable importance including the Cathedral of San Geraldo and the wonderful Valley of the Temples.
Finally continue your itinerary reaching Marsala and San Vito Lo Capo.
Last stop: move towards the city of Palermo
There are many things to see in Palermo: there are imposing churches, Norman architecture, large mosaics, but also the delicious food and l’inviting street food in every corner of the city.
The Church of San Giovanni degli Eremiti, the Norman Palace and the Vucciria Market are must-see stops.
Palermo will be the last stop on your itinerary by car. We recommend that you rest and gather your energy to leave the next day from Palermo airport.
